Wavehill works closely with community groups throughout the UK and we have met and evaluated some remarkable people and projects.

Our current work includes both large scale UK-wide projects involving hundreds of community groups, as well as working in depth with individual community organisations on a very local scale.

• People in Places

  £66 million is being spent across Wales under the People and Places programme to revitalise communities, improve community relations, and enhanced local environment and community amenities.Wavehill is currently measuring the impact of the programme.

• Cray Valley Partnership

  Wavehill worked with hard-to-engage groups of Travellers to assess the benefits they got from this regeneration programme.

• Communities First Trust Fund

  A pan-Wales evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of this fund which helped approximately 3,300 Community Groups to catalyse community activity.

• Small Change

  Derby City Partnership funded over 100 community groups, Wavehill measured the effect and impact of the grants.

• Social Risk Fund

  A pan-Wales review of over 200 community projects, Wavehill created a Best Practice model for other EU countries.

• Southwark Council

  Funded around 100 projects under the Cleaner, Greener, Safer programme, Wavehill evaluated the delivery mechanism and the impact.

• Estyn Llaw

  A project funded by the Welsh Language Board which aims to promote volunteering amongst Welsh-speakers and foster bilingualism in the voluntary sector.

• Merthyr Tydfil Rural Key Fund

  Set-up to encourage partnership working and long term strategic community development in one of the most deprived areas in Wales. Wavehill worked extensively with local businesses and stakeholders.
