Wavehill's evidence based approach to evaluation has been developed over a 15 year period, during which we have evaluated in excess of 300 programmes across all of our areas of work.

We realise the importance to you of developing new policy and strategies based on sound evidence captured using the most appropriate and proven methods and the need to trace the logic chain between program outputs, outcomes and aggregated impact.

We can provide strategic evaluation studies, or programme and impact studies developing, forward strategies, strategic value added assessments, economic cost benefit models and partnership and programme exit strategies.

Projects

  • People and Places

    An assessment of the impact of the People and Places programme with respect to the three programme outcomes of revitalised communities, improved community relations, and enhanced local environment and community amenities.

    Client: Big Lottery Fund

  • Aven Central SRB6 Final Evaluation

    An in-depth evaluation to identify and record the progress and achievements of a programme consisting of over 60 projects to highlight successes and lessons learned. The final presentation was highly regarded by our Client and Wavehill was requested to document and produce a film of the event to mark the programmes success.

  • Communities First Trust Fund

    A pan-Wales evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of this fund designed to catalyse community activity.
    Client: Welsh Assembly Government

  • Evaluation and Forward Plan for the Llwybro Routes Programme

    A scheme delivered by the Welsh Assembly Government to demonstrate to young people in Wales that they can achieve their ambitions without leaving or by returning to the communities where they grew up.

  • Evaluation of The Rural Development Programme in the Forest of Dean

    Commissioned by the Forest Regeneration Partnership to carry out an external evaluation of the Rural Development Programme in the Forest of Dean. The Forest Regeneration Partnership requested that the evaluation be presented to participating organisations and individuals as a 'Continuous Improvement Review'.

  • The GWLAD DP, Bangor University

    The GWLAD DP works within the adaptability thematic field of EQUAL. This involves promoting lifelong learning and inclusive work practices which encourage recruiting and retaining people suffering discrimination and inequality in the labour market.

  • Peckham Partnership SRB Programme

    An evaluation of the Peckham Partnership SRB programme that part funded the regeneration activities of the Sumner Road Estate, the Peckham Pulse, Peckham Library and surrounding areas.

  • CCAT

    A review of the second-largest Interreg IIIA programme in Wales, delivered by CCAT Aberystwyth.
