Wavehill specialises in evidence based social research, evaluation and economic development. The company has offices in London and west Wales, and 15 years of experience of working with the public, voluntary and private sector in both rural and urban areas across the UK and in Europe.

One of Wavehill’s main strengths is our highly experienced in-house interview team who are extremely proficient in conducting a variety of both large and small scale socio-economic research including telephone, postal, email, door–to-door and on-street surveys. Unlike many research consultancy companies, Wavehill do not employ researchers or fieldworkers on a one-off / project by project basis. Our interviewers are therefore a real part of our team, not just a set of individuals over whom we have no real control or influence. This significantly improves the quality of the service provided to the Client.

Bilingualism is central to promoting diversity and ensuring equal opportunities. Wavehill therefore observes bilingual best practice in all our fieldwork carried out within Wales. When gathering information from individuals or organisations, we feel it is essential for people to be offered a choice in whether they use Welsh or English.

Converting research and evaluation into action is what we do. Wavehill does not simply hand over the data and sit back. We get involved in designing actions, influencing policy and strategy, designing tools for the job and training organisations to manage change.
