A wide consultation in the post-16 sector on ways in which excellent practice could be recognised and rewarded. This research was undertaken to enable DCELLS to develop strategic proposals that will drive up quality and meet the needs of organisations delivering post-16 education in Wales.

Third Sector Scoping Study
Wavehill was commissioned by BIG Lottery in October 2010 to undertake a scoping study to examine the support services required by the Third Sector in Wales from the existing infrastructure bodies, i.e. organisations such as Community Voluntary Councils (CVCs) and the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) who have the responsibility of providing support services to Third Sector groups.

A Study to support the creative, cultural, festivals and events industries in Powys
Wavehill undertook an extensive research, data collection and strategic analysis into the creative, cultural, festivals and events industries in Powys on behalf of Glasu. The principal aims of this research among many others were to establish a fully comprehensive database of enterprises operating within both the creative, cultural, festivals and events industries in Powys. Map the creative (and cultural) industries and event organisers in the Powys area and develop a needs analysis of both industries.
City Pride and Stockport Partnership - Ex Offender Research
A report which examined the issues relating to offending behaviour and ex-offenders in terms of the barriers faced by ex-offenders, in terms of primary and secondary barriers; the barriers to education and employment; differences between male and female experiences and differences in youth and adult experience.

A review of Golwg 360
The Welsh Books Council for Wales commissioned Wavehill to review the development of the online news service Golwg 360. The objective of the research was to collect formal evidence on the service in order to contribute to discussions on the future of the service following March 2011. The research received a high response rate of 252 from users and non-users which helped provide a basis to inform the study.
Green Tourism Scoping Study
Wavehill were commissioned to undertake research to establish the size, scale and potential of the Green Tourism Sector in Mid Wales. The fieldwork involved a series of interviews with the sectors key stakeholders and a telephone survey of businesses operating within the sector. The research was commissioned by the Welsh Assembly Government as a precursor to any potential future activities in the in Mid Wales.
