Jay Redgrove

Jay works across a wide range of regeneration led partnerships and boards, advising on strategy, performance and future direction. Since joining Wavehill in 2001 Jay has worked with more than 100 projects across England and Wales, ranging from community networks in Peckham, to reviewing the physical regeneration of Wembley stadium, through to employment strategies for local people in Sunderland. Most recently she has led on the evaluation of AvenCentral, a large regeneration scheme in Preston, and Hackney Works employment support programme in London.

Jay is a practical front line consultant who likes to get involved with people and partnerships. She enjoys problem solving and delivers workable and easy to understand strategies and reports. Jay's academic qualifications include a BSc in Behavioural Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies from South Bank University and an MA in Applied Social Research from the University of the West of England and she has continued to take an interest in community participation and governance structures.

Previously Jay has worked as a Resident Development Officer in a local authority, an Independent Tenant's Adviser and as a Project Manager in a regeneration programme, developing the capacity of local residents to set up and run a community centre. She has also been responsible for the management and monitoring of a Community Chest Fund.

Jay has two dogs and enjoys spending most of her spare time out and about with her dogs in the picturesque hills and woods of Surrey.
