Research Team

Our dedicated and experienced social research team consists of interviewers who are highly intuitive and take a professional but personal approach to all the surveys they undertake, including resident surveys, telephone interviews, face-to-face field interviews, postal surveys and electronic (email) surveys.

Not only are the team skilled in the collection of qualitative information that is statistically robust but, through their experience, they are specialists in drawing out the qualitative evidence that creates a stronger evidence base for our clients.

Achieving the highest quality possible from our research work is of paramount importance to Wavehill and the interview team. To ensure that we maintain these high standards all interviewers are thoroughly briefed by the lead consultant at the beginning of each project, we pre-test all questionnaires and the interview process is planned and monitored daily to ensure delivery within time scales, finally we undertake data checks during and at the end of interview process.

Team members are not only proficient in one to one interview techniques but are also routinely trained in the use of Wavehill's computer-aided interview systems such as CAPI (Computer Aided Personal Interviewing), CATI and CASIC (telephone) and CAWI (online). As expected, guidelines and policies relating to market research procedures are strictly adhered to and all interviewers are registered with the MRS. All the members of Wavehill interview facilitation team are also registered with the Market Research Society and have successfully completed the Neighbourhood Initiatives Facilitation skills course. The course is designed for people working in the community development/regeneration sector or community group/partnership members who undertake facilitation work with groups.
