Save the Children

Wavehill undertook a programme of consultancy, support and capacity building within Save the Children Wales programme relating to monitoring, evaluation and strategic planning. This comprehensive evaluation included:

• Workshops to build staff capacity to set strategic objectives and monitor impact;

• Training sessions for staff in the principles of monitoring, evaluation and gauging impact of objectives and actions;

• A stakeholder evaluation of the UNCRC monitoring group's activities, which is co-ordinated by Save the Children.

Above all, the most valuable outcome of Wavehill's work was the development of a monitoring and evaluation system to enable the client to monitor the outcomes and impact of its strategic objectives. The communication and design of the monitoring and evaluation system was incredibly well received and implemented with the aim of documenting and verifying the group's progress against their objectives.
