Rhyl Going Forward - Establishing Baseline Indicators and Developing a Performance Measurement Framework
Wavehill was commissioned by the then Welsh Development Agency (WDA) and Denbighshire County Council (DCC) to support the development of a performance measurement framework for the work of Rhyl Going Forward. As part of this project Wavehill carried out a survey involving 200 Rhyl businesses, 50 Rhyl-based community and voluntary groups, over 30 stakeholder organisations working in the area, and over 400 local residents. Wavehill then analysed all data, linked findings to potential baseline indicators, and then reported on its findings.
Throughout the course of the project, Wavehill provided the Rhyl Going Forward group with the following:
Advice and support on establishing and agreeing core baseline indicators;
Up-to-date information for the chosen baseline indicators;
A range of survey questionnaires to collect quantitative and qualitative information on attitudes and perceptions of the area;
Delivery of almost 700 interviews with a range of local people, businesses, and stakeholders;
Development of an innovative framework for the WDA, DCC, and key partners, to measure the impact of future project interventions;
Delivery of a full report to tie together all findings and recommendations.
