​Bydd yr Ymgynghorydd yn cymryd cyfrifoldeb llwyr am reoli a darparu prosiectau ymchwil a gwerthuso bach / canolig o'r cyfarfod sefydlu gyda chleient hyd at gynhyrchu adroddiad terfynol. Bydd y rôl hefyd yn cynnwys darparu cefnogaeth a chyngor arbenigol ar brosiectau ar raddfa fwy o dan gyfarwyddyd Uwch Ymgynghorydd / Cyfarwyddwr. Mae hon yn swydd llawn amser.

​CYFLOG

​Rhwng £25,000 a £30,000 y flwyddyn yn dibynnu ar brofiad. Mae'r cwmni hefyd yn gweithredu cynllun bonws staff a chynllun pensiwn cwmni.

LLEOLIAD

Disgwylir i’r swydd fod yn swyddfa Aberaeron. Mae swyddfa Bryste yn bosibilrwydd ond mae rhaid ystyried bod y gwaith yn cael ei wneud ledled Cymru.

RÔL A CHYFRIFOLDEBAU

  • Dylunio methodoleg ymchwil a chyfrannu at baratoi tendrau

  • Cymryd rhan mewn cyflwyniadau a wneir fel rhan o dendrau

  • Dylunio fframweithiau ymchwil a gwerthuso

  • Ymgymryd ag ymchwil desg (adolygiadau llenyddiaeth, dadansoddiad economaidd-gymdeithasol ac ati).

  • Creu holiaduron (ansoddol a meintiol)

  • Cynnal cyfweliadau manwl â rhanddeiliaid (wyneb yn wyneb a ffôn)

  • Arwain a hwyluso trafodaethau grwpiau ffocws /grwpiau trafod

  • Paratoi ac arwain sesiynau briffio ar gyfer ymchwilwyr

  • Rheoli ansawdd data a gasglwyd gan y tîm ymchwil

  • Dadansoddiad o ddata a gwybodaeth ansoddol a meintiol gan weithio gydag ymgynghorwyr eraill ac uwch ymgynghorwyr

  • Cynrychioli Wavehill mewn cynadleddau a digwyddiadau

SUMMARY OF THE POST

The Consultant will take complete responsibility for the management and delivery of small/medium sized research and evaluation projects from the inception meeting with a client through to the production of a final report. The role will also involve providing specialist support and advice on projects of a larger scale under the direction of a Senior Consultant/Director. This is a full-time post.

SALARY

Between £25k - £30k depending on experience. The company also operates a staff bonus scheme and company pension scheme.

LOCATION

Expected to be Aberaeron office. Bristol office may be considered accepting that the role requires work to be undertaken throughout Wales.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing research methodologies and contributing to the preparation of tenders

  • Participating in presentations undertaken as part of tenders

  • Designing research and evaluation frameworks

  • Undertaking desk research (literature reviews, socio-economic analysis etc.)

  • Questionnaire design (qualitative and quantitative)

  • Undertake in-depth stakeholder interviews (face to face and telephone)

  • Leading and facilitating focus groups / group discussions

  • Preparing and leading briefing sessions for researchers

  • Quality control of data collected by the research team

  • Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data and information working with other consultants and senior consultants

  • Representing Wavehill at conferences and events

  • Writing significant sections of (and entire) reports

  • Attending meetings with Clients

  • Presenting findings of research

  • Contributing to Business Development (in terms of new markets and service enhancements/improvements)

REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Ability to deliver all services through the medium of Welsh

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant experience

  • Well organised, with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of researchers

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and/or as part of a team

  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines and maintain quality

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to travel to undertake research, meet clients, etc.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience of working and preparing reports for clients in the public sector

  • Knowledge of specialist research and analysis software such as SPSS, SNAP, Qualtrics etc.

  • Knowledge of evaluation techniques such as logic chain models

  • Knowledge of techniques to analyse quantitative and qualitative data
