Nikki Vousden
Research Consultant
Nikki joined Wavehill in 2020, following completion of her doctoral research (in Landscape Archaeology) at University of Exeter. Nikki has worked in a number of roles within the heritage and environment sectors, where she became well-versed at liaising with a variety of stakeholders, ranging from the general public to business owners and statutory bodies. Nikki’s first role at Wavehill was as a researcher, working on a wide range of social and economic research projects and gaining in-depth experience of undertaking interviews remotely. In her current role as Research Consultant she has been involved in many aspects of project delivery and particularly enjoys qualitative research.
Nikki has a strong interest in archaeology and in the voluntary and community sector. In her free time, she is committee member and newsletter editor for Council for British Archaeology Wales. She is also co-founder and secretary of Menter Silian, a Community Benefit Society which aims to breathe new life into the local community. Nikki has a BA (first class hons) in Archaeology (environmental) and MA (with distinction) in Landscape Management and Environmental Archaeology, both from University of Wales Lampeter.
