Declan Turner, Senior Consultant
Originally from Devon, since joining Wavehill, Declan has worked on a number of evaluations in both Wales and England on physical regeneration, business support programmes and economic impact studies for clients across the public and third sector, including Local Authorities, Universities and Welsh Government.
Interested in economics for its practical application to ensure resources are being utilised efficiently and provide clear assessments of project impacts, Declan has carried out impact assessments on employment sites and town centre redevelopment in Wales and student accommodation and office space proposals in Bristol.
Declan has a 1st Class degree in Economics and Politics (Hons) from the University of Leeds and plays national league hockey while enjoying running, climbing, mountain biking and anything else that gets him outside.

Declan joined Wavehill as an Economist and Consultant following several years managing and delivering economic development activities in local government. Bringing various data analysis and economic modelling skills to the team developed from data provision and evidence on behalf of the Heart of the South West LEP, Declan has supported on several European funded projects both in delivery and as an evaluator.
