Eva Trier, Associate Senior Consultant
Eva has over 15 years’ experience in community and local economic development, the social economy, innovation and sustainability in Wales, the UK and wider Europe. She works with Wavehill as an Associate Senior Consultant. Eva is an experienced consultant and researcher and regularly delivers strategic assignments for social enterprises, social economy infrastructure organisations and the public sector.
Eva’s work has covered diverse sectoral specialities, from food and housing, to public service reform and asset transfer. One of her particular strengths is a strong understanding of the potential for social enterprises to contribute to social innovation and sustainability. Combining an extensive social research track record, with strong analytical skills, she has frequently been involved in assignments that contributed to sharpening a strategic understanding of the social enterprise sector.
Eva has first-hand experience of social business management and operations from current and previous roles as Director/ Trustee of several social enterprises, including Cycle Training Wales, Groundwork Wales and RCMA - Riverside Market/Market Garden.
She is a fluent speaker of German and Spanish, with a good working knowledge of French.
