Arolwg Grant Busnes Fferm

Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi comisiynu Wavehill, ymgynghoriaeth ymchwil, i gynnal astudiaeth o'r Grant Busnes Fferm. Nod yr ymchwil hon yw deall cymhellion ffermwyr wrth ddewis a ddylid gwneud cais am y Grant Busnes Fferm ai peidio, a rôl digwyddiadau Ffermio ar gyfer dyfodol Cyswllt Ffermio wrth ddylanwadu ar eu penderfyniadau. Fel rhan o'r ymchwil hon bydd Wavehill yn casglu gwybodaeth trwy arolwg ar-lein. Mae gan Lywodraeth Cymru ddiddordeb ym marn mynychwyr y gweithdai ‘Ffermio ar gyfer y Dyfodol’ ac ymgeiswyr i’r Arolwg Grant Busnes Fferm, gan gydnabod y gallech fod yn fynychwr ac yn ymgeisydd. Mae gan Lywodraeth Cymru ddiddordeb hefyd ym marn y rhai nad ydynt efallai wedi mynychu gweithdy ond wedi derbyn cefnogaeth arall trwy Gyswllt Ffermio a'r rhai nad ydynt wedi ymgysylltu â Chyswllt Ffermio.

Pa ddata personol sydd gennym ni a ble rydyn ni'n cael y wybodaeth hon?


Diffinnir data personol o dan y Rheoliad Diogelu Data Cyffredinol (GDPR) fel ‘unrhyw wybodaeth sy’n ymwneud â pherson adnabyddadwy y gellir ei hadnabod yn uniongyrchol neu’n anuniongyrchol trwy gyfeirio at ddynodwr’.

Mae eich cyfranogiad yn wirfoddol ac os nad ydych yn dymuno cymryd rhan neu dderbyn mwy o nodiadau atgoffa yna ymatebwch i'r e-bost gwahoddiad a bydd eich manylion yn cael eu dileu. Os ydych wedi cyrchu'r arolwg trwy ddolen we a rennir gan Sefydliad Ffermio yna ni fydd eich manylion cyswllt yn cael eu dal fel rhan o gwblhau'r arolwg. Bydd canlyniadau eich arolwg yn mynd yn uniongyrchol i Wavehill ac ni fyddant ar gael i'r sefydliadau a gyflenwodd y ddolen arolwg.


Fel rhan o'r arolwg ni fyddwn yn casglu unrhyw wybodaeth bellach a fydd yn eich adnabod chi.


Os dewiswch ddarparu data personol ychwanegol fel rhan o'r ymchwil, byddwn yn ceisio peidio â'ch adnabod o'r ymatebion a roddwch, na chysylltu'ch hunaniaeth â'r ymatebion. Beth yw'r sylfaen gyfreithlon ar gyfer defnyddio'ch data?


Ein sylfaen gyfreithlon ar gyfer prosesu gwybodaeth yn yr ymarfer casglu data hwn yw ein tasg gyhoeddus; hynny yw, arfer ein hawdurdod swyddogol i ymgymryd â rôl a swyddogaethau craidd Llywodraeth Cymru.

 

Mae eich cyfranogiad yn gwbl wirfoddol. Mae astudiaethau ymchwil fel hyn yn bwysig i Lywodraeth Cymru i gasglu gwybodaeth a thystiolaeth y gellir ei gweithredu am ei gallu i gyflawni blaenoriaethau'r llywodraeth. Gellir defnyddio'r wybodaeth a gesglir yn yr ymchwil hon, er enghraifft, i lywio dyluniad cyfathrebu effeithiol wedi'i dargedu ar gyfer cynlluniau'r dyfodol, i ddeall ymgysylltiad â'r Cynllun Grant Busnes Fferm a'r Gweithdai Cyswllt Ffermio, Ffermio ar gyfer y Dyfodol.

Pa mor ddiogel yw eich data personol?


Mae gwybodaeth bersonol a ddarperir i Wavehill bob amser yn cael ei storio ar weinydd diogel. Dim ond nifer gyfyngedig o ymchwilwyr sy'n gweithio ar y prosiect hwn sy'n gallu cyrchu'r data. Dim ond at ddibenion ymchwil y bydd Wavehill yn defnyddio'r data hwn. Mae gan Wavehill ardystiad 'Cyber Essentials'.

 

Wrth gynnal arolygon, mae Wavehill yn defnyddio rhaglen feddalwedd arolwg o'r enw Qualtrics. Rydym wedi sicrhau bod Qualtrics yn cydymffurfio â 'GDPR' ac yn cwrdd â'n disgwyliadau o ran diogelwch unrhyw ddata a gesglir trwy'r meddalwedd. Mae'r holl ddata'n cael ei brosesu yn yr AEE (EEA).


Mae gan Wavehill weithdrefnau i ddelio ag unrhyw amheuaeth o dorri diogelwch data. Os bydd yna unrhyw amheuaeth o dorri, bydd Wavehill yn adrodd hyn i Lywodraeth Cymru a fydd yn eich hysbysu chi ac unrhyw reoleiddiwr  lle mae'n ofynnol dan gyfraith i ni wneud hyn.

Ni fydd y data yn cynnwys eich manylion cyswllt a bydd unrhyw wybodaeth a gellir arwain i rywun eich adnabod mewn atebion penagored yn cael ei dileu. Bydd Wavehill yn defnyddio'r wybodaeth a gasglwyd i gynhyrchu adroddiad a fydd yn cael ei gyhoeddi ar wefan Llywodraeth Cymru. Ni fydd yr adroddiad hwn yn cynnwys unrhyw wybodaeth y gellid ei defnyddio i nodi cyfranogwyr unigol.

Pa mor hir ydyn ni'n cadw'ch data personol?


Bydd Wavehill yn cadw data personol yn ystod cyfnod y contract, a bydd Wavehill yn dileu unrhyw ddata personol nad yw eisoes wedi'i dynnu wrth gasglu'r data ti gilydd o fewn dri mis i'r contract ddod i ben. Mae hyn yn cynnwys eich manylion cyswllt os ydynt wedi'u darparu i Wavehill. Bydd Wavehill yn darparu fersiwn ddienw o'r data i Lywodraeth Cymru a fydd yn cynnwys dim gwybodaeth a allai arwain i rywun i adnabod chi.

Farm Business Grant Survey

 

The Welsh Government has commissioned Wavehill, a research consultancy, to undertake a study of the Farm Business Grant. The aim of this research is to understand the motivations of farmers when choosing whether or not to apply for the Farm Business Grant, and the role of the Farming Connect’s Farming for the Future events in influencing their decisions. As part of this research Wavehill will be gathering information through an online survey. The Welsh Government is interested in the views of both attendees of the ‘Farming for the Future’ workshops and applicants to the Farm Business Grant Survey, recognising that you may be both an attendee and an applicant. The Welsh Government is also interested in the views of those who may not have attended a workshop but accessed other support through Farming Connect and those who have not engaged with Farming Connect.

 

The Welsh Government is the data controller for the research. However, Wavehill will delete any personal data provided through the survey and anonymise the raw data, before it is shared with the Welsh Government.

 

The information collected during the project will be included in a report published on the Welsh Government website and possibly in other publications by Wavehill and Welsh Government.

 

Your Participation in this research is completely voluntary. However your views and experiences are important in order to help inform Welsh Government policies.

PRIVACY NOTICE

What personal data do we hold and where do we get this information?

Personal data is defined under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as ‘any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified by reference to an identifier’.

Where you have been identified either as a person who had registered with Farming Connect, had attended a Farming for the Future Workshop, or who applied for the Farm Business Grant then your contact information is held by Welsh Government and this has been passed to Wavehill to conduct a survey on behalf of the Welsh Government:

  • If you have been identified as a person who has registered with Farming Connect, you are being asked to complete a survey by Wavehill about your opinions and experiences of Farming Connect ‘Farming for the Future’ Workshop and grants.

  • If you have been identified as a person who has attended a Farming for the Future Workshop this was done through your registration of Farming Connect and attendance at a workshop. You are being asked to complete a survey by Wavehill about your experiences and opinions of the Farming Connect ‘Farming for the Future’ Workshop.

  • If you have been identified as a person who applied for the Farm Business Grant, provided through Rural Payments Wales, this was done through your expression of interest for the grant. You are being asked to complete a survey by Wavehill about your experiences and opinions of the Farm Business Grant and the Farming Connect ‘Farming for the Future’ Workshop.

 

Your participation is voluntary and if you do not wish to take part or be sent reminders then please reply to the invitation email and your details will be removed. Wavehill will only use email address and telephone number for the purposes of this research. If you would prefer to complete the survey over the telephone please reply to invitation email and Wavehill will be in contact to arrange a convenient time for them to call you. If Wavehill have not heard from you within a week of the date of the initial email, Wavehill may call you to ask whether you wish to complete the survey over the telephone.

If you have accessed the survey through a web-link shared by a Farming Organisation then your contact details will not be captured as part of completing the survey. Your survey results will go directly to Wavehill and will not be available to the organisations that supplied the survey link.

As part of the survey we will not collect any further information that will identify you.

If you choose to provide additional personal data as part of the research we will try not to identify you from, or link your identity to, the responses you provide. If you raise a query or complaint and provide personal data requesting a response, the researcher will forward the request only to the relevant official and subsequently delete it from the research data.

What is the lawful basis for using your data?

The lawful basis for processing information in this data collection exercise is our public task; that is, exercising our official authority to undertake the core role and functions of the Welsh Government.  

Participation is completely voluntary. Research studies such as this are important for the Welsh Government to collect information and actionable evidence about its ability to deliver government priorities. The information collected in this research, for example, might be used to inform the design of effective and targeted communication for future schemes, to understand engagement with the Farm Business Grant Scheme and the Farming Connect Farming for the Future Workshops.

How secure is your personal data?

Personal information provided to Wavehill is always stored on a secure server. The data can only be accessed by a limited number of researchers working on this project. Wavehill will only use this data for research purposes. Wavehill has cyber essentials certification.

When conducting surveys, Wavehill use a survey software programme called Qualtrics. We have ensured that Qualtrics is GDPR compliant and meets our expectations in terms of the security of any data collected via the software. All data is processed within the EEA.

Wavehill has procedures to deal with any suspected data security breaches. If a suspected breach occurs, Wavehill will report this to the Welsh Government who will notify you and any applicable regulator where we are legally required to do so.

All data gathered through this research will be reported in an anonymised format. It will not contain your contact details and any identifiable information in open-ended answers will be removed. Wavehill will use the information gathered to produce a report that will be published on the Welsh Government website. This report will not include any information that could be used to identify individual participants.

How long do we keep your personal data?

Wavehill will hold personal data during the contract period, and any personal data not already removed during data collection will be deleted by Wavehill three months after the end of the contract. This includes your contact details if they have been provided to Wavehill. Wavehill will provide Welsh Government with an anonymised version of the data which will not include information that could identify you.

 

Individual rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to the personal information you provide as part of this research, you have the right:

  • To access  a copy of your own data;

  • For us to rectify inaccuracies in that data;

  • To object to or restrict processing (in certain circumstances);

  • For your data to be ‘erased’ (in certain circumstances); and

  • To lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) who is our independent regulator for data protection.
