Launch of a report on The Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme

Oliver and Mair enjoyed their recent trip to London for the launch of the report 'Trust in Business' by The Prince's Trust. Drawing on research for an evaluation of the programme being undertaken by Wavehill, the report shows that businesses started with the programme's funding and mentoring support have survival rates above the national average. The research also shows that 73% of Trust-supported businesses continue to operate into their third year, compared with the national figure of 61%. The report was commissioned to determine the longer-term impact of the programme and its positive outcomes amongst young people. Our report on the the attitudes of parents towards managing young children’s behaviour is published

The report presents findings from research undertaken by Wavehill for the Welsh Government with parents of children aged six or under about their attitudes towards managing young children’s behaviour. The fieldwork took place in early November 2015 and involved telephone surveys with 387 parents (or guardians) of young children who had previously taken part in the 2014-15 National Survey for Wales. Parents were asked about their attitudes on parenting and the physical punishment of children. The survey also asked parents about accessing parenting advice. You can find a copy of the report here.
