Evaluations of the implementation of the LEADER programme by Local Action Groups across Wales

Wavehill are pleased to have been appointed to undertake evaluations of the implementation of the LEADER programme by Local Actions Groups (LAGs) in Anglesey, Gwynedd, Ceredigion, Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire (separate commissions). LEADER is a local development method which has been used for over 20 years to engage local actors in the design and delivery of strategies, decision-making and resource allocation for the development of their rural areas. The evaluations, to be undertaken over several years alongside the delivery of the programme, will assess the delivery of activities in each area, as well as the outcomes and impact of the work of the LAGs.
