How we hold and process your information Wavehill has been engaged to complete an evaluation of The Ernest Cook Trust and #iwill’s Green Influencers Scheme. The evaluation will provide learning that will support and inform the scheme’s approach throughout its duration. ​ As part of this evaluation, we are collecting information from Green Influencers and Green Mentors to demonstrate the reach of the scheme, the range of projects which take place within the scheme and the impact these projects have on the young people involved, communities and the environment. ​ Any personal information collected as part of the evaluation is kept confidential. Your data will not be made public in a way that could lead to you being identified. The information is only used for analysis and reporting purposes. Wavehill will produce reports based on the data but this will not identify any individuals unless permission has been granted to do so. Your personal data will be deleted within six months of the evaluation coming to an end. The anonymised data is held securely and is only ever used for non-commercial research purposes. We do not share or use your information for commercial or marketing purposes. Further information ​ 1. Why is this research happening? ​ Wavehill has been engaged to complete an evaluation of The Ernest Cook Trust and #iwill’s Green Influencers Scheme. The project requires specific impact measurement with a primary interest in youth social action and demographics of participation, whilst The Ernest Cook Trust is also interested in environmental engagement and how nature connectedness can improve mental wellbeing in young people. Wavehill will help to establish a robust and rigorous system, which will both enable the client to measure the full impact of the Green Influencers Scheme and ensure that it sits within a wider impact evaluation process related to other aspects of their charitable work. 2. What type of information is collected through the evaluation? ​ Information collected through the evaluation covers a wide range of topics. These include: Responses to the Stirling Wellbeing Scale Responses to the Nature Connectedness Index Your experiences as part the Green Influencer Scheme Any benefits you may have experienced as a result of taking part in the Scheme. 3. What is personal data? ​ Personal data means any information that could lead to a person being identified either alone or in combination with other widely-available information, e.g. their name, their address, or details specific to that person. The evaluation collects some personal data for all respondents such as: Name Age Gender Ethnicity 4. How long will personal data be kept for? Wavehill will hold personal data during the contract period but will delete it six months after the end of the contract in 2023. ​ 5. What is the legal basis for collecting and processing the data collected? The lawful basis for processing information for this evaluation is that The Ernest Cook trust is carrying out a public task. ​ Participation is completely voluntary. 6. What is the purpose of processing your answers? ​ The data will be used to demonstrate the reach of the scheme, the range of projects which take place within the scheme and the impact these projects have on the young people involved, communities and the environment. ​ By taking part, you will be helping The Ernest Cook Trust to evaluate the impact of the Green Influencers Scheme and provide learning that will support and inform the scheme’s approach throughout its duration. ​ 7. Who has access to the personal data collected through the survey? ​ Wavehill, Green Mentors and project staff from The Earnest Cook Trust will have a copy of the personal data to allow them to track Green Influencers throughout the project. Analysis and reporting of this data will be reported on an aggregate basis so that individuals will not be identifiable. As part of the evaluation we may produce a series of case studies but identifiable data will not be published unless we have permission to do so. ​ Wavehill will delete all personal data within six months of the end of the project.
