Evaluation of the Heads of the Valleys and Bridgend Enterprise Effect Project

Effect stands for Enterprise Facilitation for Effective Community Transformation. Based on the Siroli Institute’s Enterprise Facilitation™ approach, Effect offers free and confidential business support to local people, start-up ventures, existing businesses and social enterprises.

The key elements of the project are: (a) Enterprise Facilitators who provide a free and confidential business facilitation service and access to their local network of contacts and resources; and (B) Volunteer Resource Panels - a group of community-minded people prepared to give their time to help local people get their ideas off the ground. Their role is to seek to address the specific needs or problems of each case / participant presented to them by the Enterprise Facilitator and, where possible, provide useful local contacts and advice which may benefit the client.

Wavehill’s evaluation looks at what has been learned from the delivery of the project (including the added-value of the model) and will inform future policy and funding decisions.
