Taff Vale Redevelopment Project

Wavehill are carrying out a survey of Pontypridd town centre Businesses. The information gathered is being used to help evaluate RCT CBC’s £38m office-led redevelopment of the Taff Vale shopping centre site. The project, received £10m of Welsh Government support through the Building for the Future initiative which includes £7m European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) from the West Wales and the Valleys ERDF Programme, Specific Objective 4.4 – to increase employment through investments in prioritised local or regional infrastructure supporting a regional or urban economic strategy. The evaluation will assess the effectiveness of the development against the project aims, as well as the broader goals of the Building for the Future initiative and the West Wales and the Valleys ERDF Programme, Specific Objective 4.4.
