Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the website

This website is run by Wavehill Ltd. We are a social and economic research company that recognises the importance of providing a website that is accessible to users.

Accessible features on our website

As part of the design process, we have been mindful to consider inclusive design principles. This includes:

  • Using a colour pallet that is optimised to meet AAA standards

  • Using site plan and breadcrumb navigation

  • Having useful and appropriate hyperlinks and call to action buttons

  • Ensuring the use of Alt Text across the site

  • We have sought external advice from Chemical Code on how we can improve the design

We know that some parts of our website are not fully accessible

  • Some PDFs uploaded may not be fully accessible to screen reader software. Where this is the case please get in touch, we may be able to provide this information in a different format such as a word document. The Userway app (see below) can also convert PDFs into more accessible formats

Where there are gaps in our approach, we are using a widget from to provide additional functionality to support users with accessibility needs. This enables the content on the website to be WCAG compliant. The functionality includes:

  • Screen reader functions

  • Dictionary lookups without leaving the site

  • Changing text size, height and spacing

  • Changing colour and saturation

  • Highlighting links

  • Dyslexia friendly font

  • Bigger sized cursor

  • Page structure
