Awareness and Engagement of SMEs in Apprenticeships Privacy Notice

How we hold and process your information

Wavehill have been appointed by the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) to undertake research into levels of awareness and experiences of Apprenticeships across Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the North East.

We would like businesses across the North East to complete a short survey about their experiences of Apprenticeships. A sample of businesses will be contacted for follow-up interviews. You will have the choice to opt into being contacted. Where businesses opt-in, we will ask for your name and telephone number. This information will be kept confidential along with any answers that you provide.

Your answers to the survey (and interview) will not be made public in a way that could lead to you being identified, nor will they be shared directly with NELEP. Wavehill will produce a report based on the information but this will not identify any individuals.

It is also important to note that the team undertaking the evaluation do not work for NELEP or any of the organisations that are involved in the delivery or funding of apprenticeships. This is independent research.

Wavehill will delete the information you provide and all personal data relating to this research within six months of the end of the evaluation.

If you have any queries regarding the evaluation, please feel free to contact either Jamie Buttrick, who is leading the evaluation (Jamie.Buttrick@wavehill.com) or Kim Smith from NELEP (Kim.Smith@NELEP.co.uk)

Under the new data protection legislation, you have the right:

  • To access your personal data held by NELEP

  • To require NELEP to correct any mistakes in that data.

  • To (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing.

  • For (in certain circumstances) your data to be ‘erased’.
