Community Freezers Privacy Notice

Wavehill are undertaking an evaluation of the Community Freezer project on behalf of Menter Môn.

The information gathered is used to help Menter Môn to understand the impact the Community Freezers have had on the people that have used them.


People taking part in this survey have been chosen because they have used the Community Freezers funded by Menter Môn. Participation in the survey is voluntary. You can decide to not take part before or during the survey and can choose to not answer certain questions if you prefer.

Your answers to the survey will not be made public in a way that could lead to you being identified. The information is only used for research purposes. Wavehill will produce a report based on the data, but this will not identify any individuals.

No personal data will be collected as a part of the Community Freezer Survey. The anonymised data is held securely and is only ever used for non-commercial research purposes. We do not share or use your information for commercial or marketing purposes.

Under the new data protection legislation, you have the right:

· To access your personal data held by Menter Môn.

· To require Menter Môn to correct any mistakes in that data.

· To (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing.

1. What is the Community Freezer Survey

Wavehill have been contracted by Menter Môn to run a survey of individuals that have used the Community Freezers. Using the survey, Menter Môn are seeking to understand the impacts that using the Community Freezers have had on people.

2. What type of information is collected through the Community Freezer Survey

The survey covers a narrow range of topics. These include:

· Motivations for using the Community Freezers

· Accessibility of the Community Freezers

· Attitudes to the food available in the Community Freezers

· Food consumption in the months leading up to using the Community Freezers

· Foodbank use

3. What is personal data?

Personal data means any information that could lead to a person being identified either alone or in combination with other widely-available information, e.g. their name, their address, or details specific to that person.


The Community Freezers Survey does not collect any personal data.
