Cornwall and the Isle of Scilly have received £132m from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and £5.6m from the Rural Prosperity Fund. This investment supports the UK Government's Levelling Up agenda and the region's Good Growth Programme, aimed at fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth whilst creating a more equal society.
Wavehill have been commissioned by Cornwall Council to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the programme. We are building on our experience and proven approach from evaluating DLUHC’s £3.2bn national European Regional Development Funding (ERDF) and the £220m Community Renewal Funding (CRF) to ensure a thorough assessment that aligns with local and national strategic objectives, offering valuable lessons for future initiatives and policy decisions.
With 134 projects already approved, as of December 2023, encompassing sectors from renewable energy to education and social inclusion, our evaluation will provide critical insights into the programme's impact.
