How we hold and process your information
Wavehill are undertaking research on behalf of Llyn Parc Mawr Community Woodland Group. The information gathered is used to help Llyn Parc Mawr to assess the success of the programme and to gauge its impacts on visitors, event attendants and volunteers.
Participation in the research is voluntary. You can decide to not take part before or during the research and can choose to not answer certain questions if you prefer.
Any personal information collected as part of the research is kept confidential. Your answers will not be made public in a way that could lead to you or your household being identified. The information is only used for research purposes. Wavehill will produce a report based on the data but this will not identify any individuals.
Your personal data is deleted within six months. Your answers are linked anonymously to other data sources for non-commercial research purposes only, unless you ask for this linkage to not take place. The anonymised data is held securely and is only ever used for non-commercial research purposes. We do not share or use your information for commercial or marketing purposes.

1. What is the Llyn Parc Mawr TWIG Project?
The Llyn Parc Mawr TWIG project, delivered by the Llyn Parc Mawr Community Woodland Group is being undertaken to expand their woodland site and to turn it into a community and environmental asset. This will involve works to make the site more accessible and the delivery of volunteering and events programmes.
2. What type of information is collected through the research?
The research covers a wide range of topics. These include:
Experiences of the programme and its impacts on volunteers, visitors and those attending or participating in events
Demographic and place-based data including gender identity, ethnicity and postcode
3. What is personal data?
Personal data means any information that could lead to a person being identified either alone or in combination with other widely-available information, e.g. their name, their address, or details specific to that person.
Any personal data collected will be anonymised and will not be made public in a way which will lead to either you or your organisation being identified.
4. How long does Llyn Parc Mawr keep personal data for?
The personal data will be kept for 6 months after the end of the contract.
5. What is the legal basis for collecting and processing the data collected?
Legitimate interest.
6. Who has access to the personal data collected through the survey?
Wavehill and Llyn Parc Mawr will have access to the anonymised data collected through the research. In the case of paper surveys, Llyn Parc Mawr will input data from the written responses to be sent to Wavehill for analysis. Language learning models and 3rd party software may be used to help us process data.
