Evaluation of The Prince’s Trust Health & Care Programme - Participants Privacy Notice

How we hold and process your information

The Prince’s Trust has commissioned Wavehill to conduct the evaluation of the Health & Care Programme. This evaluation seeks to provide insight and understanding into the impact of programme for the young people supported and the Health & Social care partners involved. The evaluation also aims to support objectives around improvement and learning to create more and stronger impacts for young people. We would like to understand the extent to which this programme enables young people to maximise their potential in learning and development settings to secure employment, pursue long term career aspirations and thrive in the world of work.

The objectives of the evaluation are to:

  • Provide insight into the young people who have been supported by the Health & Care programme

  • Provide insight into the impact of the programme for young people

  • Provide insight into the outcomes of the programme for Health & Social Care employers and delivery partners

People taking part in these interviews have been chosen by The Prince’s Trust based on them progressing into Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant roles since the launch of the programme in 2019. Participation in these interviews is voluntary. You can decide to not take part before or during the interview and can choose to not answer certain questions if you prefer.

Any personal information collected as part of these interview is kept confidential. Your answers to the survey will not be made public in a way that could lead to you being identified. The information is only used for the purpose of highlighting themes and providing insight into the delivery of the programme. Wavehill will produce a report based on the data but this will not identify any individuals

Your personal data is deleted within 6 months of the completion of the project in April 2024. Your answers to the interview questions are linked anonymously to other data sources for non-commercial research purposes only, unless you ask for this linkage to not take place. The anonymised data is held securely and is only ever used for non-commercial research purposes. We do not share or use your information for commercial or marketing purposes.

Under the new data protection legislation, you have the right:
