Wavehill Evaluation of Camau Cefnogol: Privacy Notice

How we hold and process your information

Wavehill are evaluating the mental health and wellbeing support provided by your college as part of the Camau Cefnogol project. The evaluation is on behalf of Grŵp Llandrillo Menai.


The information will be used to help Grŵp Llandrillo Menai to understand what is working well and what could be improved. 


People taking part in the online survey, or engaging with us over the phone or face to face, have been chosen by Grŵp Llandrillo Menai. Participation is voluntary. You can decide not to take part at any time. You can also choose not to answer certain questions if you prefer.

 

The data you provide will only be used for the purposes of this evaluation. Any personal information collected as part of the evaluation is kept confidential.  No one will be able to tell who you are from what we write.


Wavehill is an independent research team and do not work for Grŵp Llandrillo Menai or any organisations involved in the delivery or funding of the wellbeing support. This is an independent evaluation.

 

Wavehill will delete the information you provide and all personal data relating to this evaluation within six months of the end of the evaluation.

Under the new data protection legislation, you have the right:

  • For (in certain circumstances) your data to be ‘erased’.

Why is this work happening?

Wavehill is an independent team who are reviewing mental health and wellbeing support provided by your college, as part of the Camau Cefnogol project. Wavehill are undertaking the work on behalf of Grŵp Llandrillo Menai.


What type of information is collected?

Our survey and virtual/face to face engagement asks about

  • What things were like before you got support.

  • Your experience of getting support.

  • How the support has changed things for you.

 

What is personal data?

Personal data means any information that could lead to a person being identified either alone or in combination with other widely-available information, e.g. their name, their address, or details specific to that person.


The survey collects your name and phone number if you choose to provide it. This will only be used to contact you about taking part in a follow-up phone call. Your contact details will not be shared with anyone else and we will delete them after the project has ended.


How long does Wavehill hold personal data for?

Your personal data will be deleted within 6 months of the end of the evaluation, which is expected to finish in March 2026.


What is the legal basis for collecting and processing the data collected? 

Consent. You can withdraw your consent (choose not to take part) at any time.

 

What is the purpose of processing your answers?

The data is used for improving the Wavehill team’s understanding of the support provided as part of the Camau Cefnogol project. By taking part, you will be helping Grŵp Llandrillo Menai improve the support they provide.


Who has access to the personal data collected through the survey?

Only Wavehill will have access to any personal data you share. The data collected will only be used by Wavehill for analysis and reporting purposes Language learning models and 3rd party software may be used to help us process data.
