How we hold and process your information
Wavehill is carrying out an independent evaluation of the Churchyard Biodiversity and Heritage Project on behalf of the Diocese of Coventry. The project aims to enhance biodiversity, improve access and celebrate heritage across up to 80 churchyards in Coventry and Warwickshire.
We are asking people who take part in events or activities to complete a feedback form so we can get a better understanding of what is working well, how we can improve, and of the impact the project is having on individuals and communities. Participation is voluntary - you can choose not answer certain questions or withdraw at any time.
The data you provide will only be used for the purposes of this evaluation. If you complete a paper form the data will be collected and inputted into our survey software, SurveySparrow, by the Diocese of Coventry. The data will be processed and stored securely by Wavehill. Any personal information is kept confidential and will not be identifiable in reporting.
Wavehill is an independent research team and do not work for the Diocese of Coventry or any organisations involved in the delivery or funding of the project. This is an independent evaluation.
Wavehill will delete the information you provide and all personal data relating to this evaluation within six months of the end of the evaluation.

1. Why is this work happening?
The project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, aims to enhance biodiversity, improve access and celebrate heritage across up to 80 churchyards in Coventry and Warwickshire. Wavehill are working with the project team to review the project’s Development Phase.
We ask people taking part in events or activities to complete a feedback form so we can understand what works well, what could be improved, who is taking part, and the impact the project is having on individuals and communities.
2. What type of information is collected?
We ask participants to share their views on what is working well, what could be improved, and how they have benefited from taking part. We also ask for some basic information about you, such as where you travelled from, your age, and who you attended the event or activity with - this is to help us understand who is engaging with the project.
3. What is personal data?
Personal data means any information that could lead to a person being identified either alone or in combination with other widely-available information, e.g. their name, their address, or details specific to that person.
All data will be anonymised. Any comments that you make will be confidential and the information you provide will only be used for the purposes of this evaluation.
We do not share or use your information for commercial or marketing purposes.
4. How long does Wavehill hold personal data for?
Your personal data will be deleted within 6 months of the end of the Delivery Phase evaluation (if successful).
5. What is the legal basis for collecting and processing the data collected?
Legitimate interest. You can withdraw your consent (choose not to take part) at any time.
6. What is the purpose of processing your answers?
The data is used for improving the Wavehill team’s understanding of the project. By taking part, you will be helping the Diocese of Coventry learn from and make improvements to the project.
7. Who has access to the personal data collected through the survey?
The data will be collected and inputted into our survey software, SurveySparrow, by the Diocese of Coventry and then processed and stored securely by Wavehill. The data collected will only be used by Wavehill for analysis and reporting purposes Language learning models and 3rd party software may be used to help us process data.
