We’re proud to support charitable organisations and causes across the UK in a way that grows alongside our business and enables us to make a genuine difference. Each year, we commit 1% of our pre-tax profits to charitable giving, ensuring our success directly supports the communities around us.
Everyone at Wavehill has an active role in shaping this support. Staff in each office select charities in their local areas, ensuring that our donations reflect what matters most to our team while fostering a culture of responsibility, community connection, and meaningful social impact.
Our chosen charities this year are:
Bristol Energy Co-operative (Bristol)
Bristol Energy Co‑operative works to create and support community‑owned renewable energy projects across Bristol, helping local people take action on climate change while reinvesting benefits back into the community.
A message of thanks: “We are hugely grateful for this generous donation, which we will use to continue our mission of building a renewable community-owned power station across Bristol’s roofs. Community energy is a practical, democratic response to the climate crisis. At its heart is the idea that energy should serve the people who use it - not just those who profit from it. Since 2011, BEC has built 25 solar projects, generating enough electricity to power 4,500 homes. We have channelled over £400k to community projects in Bristol and beyond. In an age of energy insecurity and rising cost of living, we are proud to be helping reduce bills and cutting carbon emissions while supporting valuable community work.
Area 43 (Aberaeron)
Area 43 is a youth charity based in West Wales, providing young people with safe spaces, mental health support, and opportunities to build confidence, resilience, and positive futures.
A message of thanks: “Please pass on our grateful thanks to the staff at your Aberaeron office for their recent donation to Area 43. This will go towards the continuation of services providing a much needed safe and comfortable meeting space for the young people who use the youth café and is hugely appreciated”
Love, Amelia (Newcastle)
Love, Amelia supports children and families across the North East who are facing hardship by providing essential items, practical help, and emotional support during difficult times.
A message of thanks: “What a lovely email to receive - a HUGE thank you to you and the Newcastle team for choosing to support us with your donation. In such a tough climate, it really will make such a huge difference to children and families right here in the North East.”
Toynbee Hall (London)
Toynbee Hall is a long‑established social justice charity working alongside communities in London to challenge inequality, strengthen voices, and create fairer systems that support everyday lives.
