Hall Aitken will continue to trade in Scotland, keeping its regional identity and client relationships intact, while gaining access to the broader resources and expertise of the Wavehill group. For Wavehill, the acquisition adds a Scottish base to its existing offices in Aberaeron (West Wales), Bristol, London and Newcastle, strengthening its UK-wide capability.

Both organisations share a commitment to rigorous, independent research and to putting the needs of clients and communities at the heart of their work.

Oliver Allies, Managing Director of Wavehill, said: "We are delighted to welcome Hall Aitken to Wavehill. This brings together two organisations with complementary expertise and a strong commitment to high-quality research and evaluation. It strengthens our UK-wide presence while retaining the local knowledge and relationships that are so important to our work."

Paul Buchanan, Managing Director of Hall Aitken, added: "Joining Wavehill marks an exciting new chapter for Hall Aitken. We will continue to operate in Scotland, building on the reputation and relationships we have developed over many years, while benefiting from the wider support and experience of the Wavehill team. This creates new opportunities for our clients and colleagues."
