This week Wavehill employees gathered together for our winter Away Day in Birmingham. With offices across the UK, it is important that we make time to meet up with each other. Collaboration and sharing learning is an integral part of our company culture and these sessions offer a great opportunity for staff from all our offices to come together to catch up and meet in person. The day in Birmingham also offered the opportunity to welcome new staff and to collectively celebrate the recent promotions of several of our team.
As an employee-owned company the Away Day is a key mechanism for us all to reflect on the progress that we are making as a company. The sessions are designed to provide detailed insight into the strategic operation of the company and to empower staff to contribute and feedback on different areas of the business. The day also included several sessions focused on collectively shaping our strategic direction for the coming years.
